NCEA Graphics L3 Scholarship submission. Board 1

This is a high school project I did this year for Graphics subject. The brief was to design a small vehicle for one person that incorporates efficient low emmision technology, has a roof to protect from the environment that may be detachable, be ergonomically designed, and can stand upright when parked.

Boy was this was a tough topic to choose.. I did a standard 2 page research on existing products, 3 concepts pages, around 12 pages of development work. 12!(or was it more!?) OMG I literally had no life because of working on this... I wasnt gonna choose such a rediculously daring topic - I didn't think I would be able to pull it off, but my teacher did, and so i gave it a go.
It wasnt just sketching some slick sports car, I had to explore ideas nd analyse AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE for it to gain a high mark/grade. That means screws/nuts/bolts, every exterior panel, every door hinge, chassis, dimensions/size/proportion, materials, and how it all fits together. It was killing me.
Luckily i finished in time! along with everyone else in PANIC MODE, I did last minute work, literally minutes before the deadline, before they were to be couriered to the national examinations to be marked/graded.

I didnt want to upload them until I knew NZQA had finished marking them - didnt want to risk someone stealing it and claiming its theirs, and putting it all at risk. Not that its likely to happen, but you cant blame me for being paranoid about something like that to happen! LOL

Im only gonna upload the final presentation boards for now, I dont have my original development sketching pages yet, only these jpeg finals that i had on my usb hehe.

Results arent posted til mid-Jan, but im sure theyve all finished marking by now. Wish me luck

edit: Again, the signature looks stupid but its to protect from theives erasing the signature
